The Way People Are!

It's canny the way people are,
Wondering whom they were,
Each person with their own personality,
Wishing they'd come back down to reality,
Seething with unmeasured destruction,
Taking them down the wrong direction,
Asking to play with fire,
As they walk on a thin wire,
With a path leading up to heaven,
And a path leading down to hell,
Wondering if I'll even hear her yell,
Knowing all wasn't right,
While they had become tight!
