With Closed Eyes

With closed eyes, the pain finally subsides.
Music and air cures so much these days
There is no sanity, nothing is consistent
It is so hard to feel real when everyone is such a fraud.

Something once in your grasp now seems so out of reach.
In a matter of moments, so fast, everything can change.
When dreams are the only things that feel realistic,
To wake up and feel the actuality of life,
Surrounded by this apathy,
What is truly expected to come out of this?

Searching for what makes it all seem so worth it.
Life is,
Undeniably overrated
