The Rain

Soft summer rain,
So calm and forgiving,
Without it, nothing is worth living.
While harsh at times, when showing its muscles,
Everything on Earth is at the mercy of this tussle.
Tornadoes, wind flooding rains and snows,
All can be harsh but never the less help the world grow.
Stop and listen next time you hear,
You can be amazed at where your mind will steer.
