The Game

April 16, 2008

Life is a game
You must try your best
You learn as you go
Your skills will be put to the test

Your friends are your teamates
Helping you through it all
Your opponents are your obstacles
Trying to make you fall

Your parents are on the sidelines
Telling you what to do
You listen to their guidelines
But the decision is up to you

Referees are the police
Keeping you safe and carefree
Keep your eyes on the goal
Never giving up is the key

The wind whistles throught your hair
As you navigate through the field
You have to wrestle with your disadvantages
Without using a shield

You only have so much time to succeed
If you lose a game never settle
Because you can always play again
And possibly win a medal
