Daggers speak louder than words ever could,
So take it…bury the hilt as deep as you can.
Did you think it would make all your pain go away?
To inflict it on others and their tortured souls?
Your words are match lit and sliding down my throat,
A blaze which ignites the towering edifice: my core.
It ripples and singes leaving wreckage behind,
Until I have nothing within.
