Worn Out

April 15, 2008

Worn out ancient dog dozing
Underneath the hot midday sun
With the cool grass pressing on his cheek
He finally gets some needed rest

He dreams of the time when he was young
Oh how he wishes to frolic again
But he is much too old to do so
So he waits until his time will come in heaven
