Our friendship started three fun years ago
Everyday we became closer to each other
Not wanting our beautiful friendship to end

But one day she met someone new and pushed me away
I watched from the side, depressed and lonely
I watched for a while and then an idea came to me

I sat down that night and spilled out my hurt emotions in a letter to her
And left it on her desk for her to read

After reading that note she ignored me more
That’s when I knew our friendship existed no more

I was filled with sorrow and disbelief once it had ended
I felt upset; one more friendship had come to an end
