Why Me?
I’m staring out the window as my tears fall,
It seems to me like you don’t love me at all,
There’s days that go by and I don’t say a word,
You’ve paid more attention to a lousy bird,
Why do you hate me so?
Today I’m thinking that I should go,
You always compare me to them and say they’re better,
Then my eyes flood making my cheeks even wetter,
I’m just someone there for you to yell at and beat,
You hit my face and my arms and stomp on my feet,
And you wonder why I try to run away,
I just wish Death would come and take me away,
I’m tired of all the pain and crying you’ve caused me
