The Lover

Deep in thought, his mind wandered,
wandered to her, his love eternal,
loving eternally, though she's gone,
he can't move on, no matter how hard he tries,
try and fail, try and fail again,
must it go on? oh, it must,
desperately he searches, knowing what he'll find,
scared to see, yet so very curious,
the search goes on, ever going,
never ending, for his love is gone,
no way to find her, for she has found someone new,
that you will never know.
