i hear you're leaving me soon
and it brings me to tears
i knew it would happen
it was one of my fears
but i never knew
it would happen so fast
i was so determined
to make every moment last
but now i'm far away
and you've grown so ill
i find myself wishing
you were healthy still
please don't leave me
not without good-bye
either way
i still might cry
i am very good
at hiding what i feel
showing the world a
smile that isn't real
but this time around
i'm just letting go
i love you so much
i'm just letting you know
