The Window
i watch the sea
 the salt, sand-filledair

 my soul is there
 my home is here
 the window our only connection,
 a look my only reminder

through stormy warnings, peak the sun rays

Shine on me, I will the sun
I want a wave to surround my feet
 salt settle in my hair

  eyeashes, brow

sea reflected by the blue pools in my eyes
 call of the water
     putting on my sandals

    my coat, my scarf
the wind tugging at my hair
the sand slipping into my shoes
