Walking the Hallways

April 11, 2008
Walking the hallways,
Trying to hide the glare,
Nobody notices that she is not there.
The teacher calls her name,
There is no answer.
Don’t they know she now has cancer?
The school finds out about noon,
But what they don’t know is that she’s dying soon.
No balloons, no flowers no get-well soon cards!
She now lye’s in the casket with no regards.
Her classmates don’t cry,
But yet feel sad,
Regretting what they had said,
Before things went bad,
Her spirit still remains,
In the third row last seat,
Its something her classmates now can’t defeat.
