I'm sorry for what I can't say,
Sorry for the words I'm letting decay.
I'm sorry I'm leaving you here, alone.
I'm regretting heading for the twilight zone.
But it's a choice I've thought over, long and hard,
And it's the only way to heal what has been scarred.
I'm sorry I didn't let you in.
I just didn't want you to see me crumble.
Tumble.
Shatter.
Break.

The author's comments:
This piece is slightly inspired by someones thoughts once they decide to commit suicide. I want to convey the fact that they are sorry about what they are doing, but that they think it's the right decision. Also that they wanted to ask for help, but they didn't want the ones they cared about to see them in that state.
