Gone but not forgotten
Lost but to be found
Soldiers that were fighting
In hell to holy ground
Gone but always waiting
Lost but never dead
Charged straight into battle
Backed by the ones they lead
Gone but forever brothers
Lost but in His land
Useless is thou grieving
For they roam in the golden sand
Gone but timeless heroes
Lost but a sacred mark
Of the sacrifices made
To protect us from the dark
So let us remember
Those that did not return
As they are always with us
A lesson we all must learn
