At This Very Moment
I'm not sure why my mind won't click.
I'm starting to think it's all a trick
to get me doing my work in school,
but i feel like i should get out. Quick!
Because it's really not that cool,
I'd rather be in the mountains on a mule
instead of sitting in this seat,
or maybe in Spain fighting a bull.
Instead I sit here and look at my feet.
My brain has no thoughts, my heart has no beat.
I'd rather be anywhere but this place,
shopping, dancing, or going out to eat.
But now my energy and the time are in a race
 I can't stay awake, it's such a disgrace.
You can see the boredom in my eyes
who was the idiot that said time flies?
