Raindrops
Ten drops of rain were sitting on a mine,
One blew up, and then there were nine.
Nine drops of rain whispering in a crate,
One fell silent, and then there were eight.
Eight drops of rain preaching in heaven,
One said a bad word, and then there were seven.
Seven drops of rain on cactus pricks,
One screamed in pain and then there were six.
Six drops of rain going out for a drive,
One fell in a ditch, and then there were five.
Five drops of rain with stones at their core,
One soon melted, and then there were four.
Four drops of rain were munching on a pea,
One threw up, and then there were three.
Three drops of rain experimenting with moo,
One dropped his cud, and then there were two.
Two drops of rain were struggling for a gun,
One went splat, and then there was one.
One drop of rain was at a loss for fun,
He sighed like a balloon, and then there were none.
