Rainfall

December 9, 2011

Raindrops falling slowly at my fingertips.
Speeding up like a racecar
Soon enough its pelting me, leaving scars.
The sky has gone from blue to grey, very quickly.
The rain has gone from pelting water, to pelting ice.
Temperatures from 38 to 20.
As I sit here and watch the streets on which I travel become solid sheets of ice.
I hope and pray that there will be no school.
As I watch and watch temperatures begin to gradually reach 30.
Snowfall becomes more of a windstorm of snowflakes.
Snowflakes, snowflakes, snowflakes.
