Where is this all going to take me
I would love to know where I am going
so maybe I can sit and relax with a cup of tea

What is the adventure in that
I don't think there is one
I will put on my hat
and go on my way

Some may think they have it all planned
everything is so unpredictable
not to say you should treat life like your banned

No person can just say 'here it is and that's way it's suppose to be'
though it doesn't hurt to dream
I know we all would rather be in the sun under a palm tree

Make your own path in life they tell me
but I think life has made the path I shall take
unpredictable in its ways how am I suppose to see

I let it lead me where ever
but I will take my dreams with me
I will talk as though I am clever
and see where this all ends
