I look to the stars
Too far, too far from my reach
Surrounded by dark
As dark, as deep, as empty
as the unknown
as the unforgotten
Leave it to the stars
to act as though They know My future
But to them I aspire
I jump, I fall, into that surrounding darkness
into the unknown
into the unforgotten
Still, to the stars I strive
Like winter blossoms i will bloom from the snow
Looking forward to the unknown
Accepting the unforgotten
