Darkness, dazed, and confused
Pain, sadness, and alone
Tears blackened with dust
Screams muffled by rubble
Broken bones and no way out
Terrible creaks and falling stone
Stuck in place, cannot move
Caving in, both mind and ceiling
Thoughts why me, why now, why is this happening
Wondering if its worth it to try and hold on
Every breath filled with dirt
Choking on dust
Hearing nothing, seeing nothing
Life and hope slowly deteriorating
Air disappearing, breaths becoming shorter
Happiness gone, sadness only
Last breath, body goes limp...
