Dedication
Up before dawn,
he was up and about,
running the streets,
while sweat pored out.
Days on end for many years,
he has worked past the point of exhaustion,
with the thoughts still bright,
of people telling him the NFL was no option.
The heart and soul of his high school team,
he leads his team to state,
out doing all others,
and developing a number one rate.
Now on top,
he has caught the eye of many division one schools,
n ot only helping his pride,
but giving him a new burst of fuel.
Last game of his junior year
a disastrous hit was all it took,
to alter his dream,
and to become partially overlooked.
Two years passed
and he was making great strides
in his recovery
with his dedication by his side.
Up before dawn,
he was up and about,
running the streets,
while sweat poured out.
He was determined to prove everyone wrong,
that he was good enough,
and that he did belong.
The 2011 draft came around,
and he was looking like he was NFL bound.
