The Night to Remember

It was just like yesterday.
My heart drooped to my feet.
Speechless like a cat got my tongue.
My heart noticed the one for me.
Not knowing who he might be.
Sweating like a waterfall on the Caribbean Island.
A fairy tale this might be,
One touch, a touch to remember.
Cold shivers, run throughout my body, like a cold snowy day.
A reality this might be,
The kiss of a lifetime,
Broke down my shield that protected my heart.
And, captured my heart, mind, body, and soul for eternity.
A dream this might be,
A night to remember,
A night I’ll never forget,
The night I met you.
