Darkest Urge
Like a cold, black night
 It reveals no light
 A vast endless cave
 It knows no limit
 No boundary to the
 Wrath and guilt it feeds
 Like a starved animal
 It consumes everything within
The feeling is like biting into
Something sweet with a sour aftertaste
 It is a smile
 So forgiving and generous
 That becomes a sneer
 The first taste is irresistible
 But with a crushing despair
 When you act with it
 You feel sick and alone
 And yet so powerful
You loathe it, despair it, yearn for it
It is your most loyal companion
 And your worst enemy
 It becomes you
