Grasshopper
I can see your green self,
and your brown wings.
I see you in the green grass,
sitting in the sun,
and flying on the wind
everyplace that I go.
I see you hopping for your life
away from birds and bees.
I see you in all your might
bounding from tree to tree.
I hear you in the night
chirping and singing away.
I can see your wisdom
in every single way.
Every bug is dumb
compared to you and me.
