Speaking to death

As I was sitting on my front porch swing,
A man in black was staring at me whistling,
I said who are you who are you?
His response was nothing but you shall be no more.

I said what is it? what is it?
As I stood up he said It is your time to meet the end,
All I could say was what does this mean?
His response was anything but you shall be no more.

As he walked closer I started to be frightened,
The man in black carried a long steel sword in a sheath at his side,
I screamed not a one step closer, for I was terrified,
All he said was you shall be no more.

Suddenly I realized what he meant,
It was time for me to take a hint,
About what he was telling me,
When he agreed he said yes you will be no more.

When he walked forward I started to cry,
For I meant that he was to take me abide,
His fire horse and chariot waiting,
All he said was you shall be no more.
