Peace and Calm

April 3, 2008

Clicks and clatters on busy streets,
all fade away in distant memories.

To look around
and see what's there.
To feel what's real
and be aware.

Of scalding hot rays and
tickling breezes,
that tease exposed skin.

The sizzling sand between your toes,
And sea salt air
that crinkles your nose.

The roaring and
Crashing and
tumbling down,of waves
cascading onto the shore.

To find peace and calming,
amidst such liveliness, and noise.

Take a deep breath in,
Open your eyes,
and plunge into the paradise around you.
