The Gift of The Magi

A chronicle of two foolish children,
who unwisely sacrificed for each other.
giving all they had,
for one another,
let it be said,
that of all who give,
of all who live,
those were two of the wisest.
maybe the hairs of her head were numbered,
but nobody,
could ever count her love for him.
they gave gifts with love and care,
even without a penny to spare.
they sacrificed their priced possessions,
to bring about smiling expressions.
