Striking Fury

The dark cloud moved in,
Yanking a thunderstorm along with it
With a loud bang,
It let out its fury
Sending thousands of tiny drops to the ground
As the thunder’s rumbling grew louder
The rain poured down powerfully
Striking furiously
The dark cloud refused to move
Inflicting fear upon those below
The untamed thunder’s roar lashed through the sky
As the rain continued to crash down
Slowly the dark cloud began to part
Revealing the bright sun
The unpredictable storm disappeared
Leaving only small reminders of its presence
