Can't Breathe
He touched me with sincere but looked at me with disgust
I was blindfolded by love and only dream about lust
The jewelry, the money, the clothes, and the cars
Could not compare to these hideous scars
The broken apologies flies through the sky
As our love and trust passes me by
I swam in the ocean trying not to drown
He held me back, suffocated me, and kept pulling me down
Too far, too deep, no oxygen around for me to breathe
