Discrimination
Shoot me with your words

 Cut me with your stares

But still I soar high like air

 Hurt me with your lies

 Fight me with your hate

But you know I'm better, no actually, I'm great

You think your discrimination gives me pain

But on the contrary, gives me more to gain

The lies, the back-stabbing, the deceit

Is just a regular day for you I see

And when you call me names

Its just jealousy and ignorance surrounding your brain

You feel to spread this hate on me

Because you are hurting more then you let on to believe

And even though you push me to the edge

I am one of the only people that can give you something that no one has

 Love

Love that you can change for the better

Love that can be given whenever

The love that can help you realize that you can be loved

 And are loved

 And someday spread that love

But for now I wait for you to see

That this discrimination will never affect me.
