Beneath Those Hazel Eyes
They were just simple, average sized eyes,
Not green nor blue nor brown,
But a mixture of all of them...Hazel.
Who knew his eyes would be able to see more than just 20/20 vision,
But enough that he could see something in me,
Something I could never see myself... alone.
One day I looked up to find those hazel eyes staring into mine,
After so long I'd never seen,
What lay down beneath those hazel eyes.
Something caught my eye about the sparkle in his eyes,
Everythime he smiled or when he simply walked by,
I had to stop and stare into his hazel eyes.
In that moment a fire sparked,
Deep beneath in my heart,
And I couldn't imagen how everything would have been if...
I hadn't seen beneath those hazel eyes.
