If depression exists,
I think its opposite is bliss.
I wish to kiss this quick cricket.
To rustle the thicket and purchase a ticket.

5 cents per showing, not like my parents' days.
Thinking all the time, blank gaze, dank and dazed.
Drowning in the world, like this whole place is Atlantis.
Here's a list of things we take for granted:

Grass

Heat

Money

Family

Friends

Music

Talking

Stars

Love

Life

The author's comments:
I write because I love life. This poem is just my brain. Spewed out on the page. I like to sit and pull out grass, or try to watch it grow, something all human's like: Destruction and creation, although not always opposites.
