It rained yesterday
As I tasted your tears
They tasted of the clouds
Up in the big gray sky I painted for you
It rained yesterday
As I bandaged your heart
I scribbled your name into my mind so I could save it for a rainy day
It rained yesterday
My hair damp and wet
My pale skin dotted with tear drops
Your hair drenched in moister from the rain
It rained yesterday
As I watched you pass by
I dreamt of you and me in the sky
Tasting god’s tears trying to pass the time
