Gray Disappointment

A picture of a young boy sitting alone on the curb with his head down between his legs.
He smells his rain soaked clothes.
The taste in his mouth is like bitter-oranges on a hot day.
He hears the sound of a hundred broken harps.
He feels like someone beating on his head with their feet.
All alone wondering where his parents were.
Why they are always saying he is just a money sucker.
He thinks to himself "A gray disappointment is what I am."
