Freshman Year
As I walk through the double doors
 I hear a sweet sound
 People talking
 They were loud
But it was a familiar sound
 Lockers were opening and closing
In the distance the water fountain turned on
As it trickled its coldness down my face
The water made it hurt less
 The burn went away
But that burn came right back
 For I was nervous
It was only freshman year but still
  I was scared
I had many thought at once
Failing freshman year will people like me
 I am scared
