My Room

My room is filled with candy
Wrappers all over the walls.
Reese Cups, Sour Punch, Hot Cheetos,
Starburst, Now & Later, and Milky Ways.
I have it all..
My microwave filled with
Stickers and pictures on top and around,
Is obviously deferred from the craziness that absorbs it.
It just sits there waiting patiently
For me to come back and use it again.
Instead of eating candy
Snickers, Gushers, Fruit Roll- Ups,
Carmelo’s, and Fruit Snacks are on my mind.
So that poor little microwave will have to wait another lifetime.
