The car
The sandy look of a beach.
The feel of the metal against your hand.
I beg you can I drive it.
The sound of the engine roaring to life,
as a lion roar to his pride.
Why does it have to be so nice?
The feel of the interior as you slide into
the front seat.
The feel of the petal pressing against your leg.
The shine of the polished wheels against the sun.
The sound system blasting as loud as the world
can hear. Why does it have to be so
appealing?
Someday I will get to drive it.
Day is now.
