can You see through My web?
made from lies I have weaved
from the people I've hurt, who've
been lied at, deceived?
can You see through the mirror
that protects My
reflection?
when tilted just right, can cause
deep deception.
put both together and what do
You see? an
old looking glass mirror, but
what stares back at Me?
an eccentric old mistress
hiding truth up her sleeve,
crying," oh, what a tangled
web We weave!"
