Starting out only as a seed,
sprouting day by day toward the path that lay ahead.
Using advice and finding need,
looking up at the sky to wonder what may fall overhead.

A strong supporting base will form
that will help in sad times and dismays,
And leaves will begin to transform
shielding gray and dreary days.

The plant will grow throughout the years,
learning about life and making decisions.
The plant will take one path that appears,
and will live that life full of envisions.

A bud will form and that time will come,
when the sun will shine not of the least.
The flower will bloom and grow to become,
everything that’s been meant to be released.
