Keep to Yourself
The things I know and feel and see
Will always and only belong to me
And whether my thoughts wander far or near
Are consumed by happiness or fear
They will be mine I will not share
A glimpse if offered will be rare
Now to your story we will turn
And all the things that you know and have learned
But unless I ask do not
For the things you've known and felt and seen
An the things that could have and might have been
Will always and only belong to you
For who else knows whats truly true
Other then besides and only you
But before I leave you must know
that ideas kept for you alone are ideas lost to the rest of the world
And emotions bottled always burst and leave you feeling only worse
For the thoughts that you do no express have a way of becoming your greatest regrets
