Daydream

As sun gleams off spinning crystal,
Translucent threads chime in tune,
Serenading me with soft harmony.

Splashes of cream flowers waltz,
Partnered with their velvet stems;
Leaves ripple on feathery moss.

Cinnamon patterns curve up trees.
Swaying branches rise to the sky,
Painted with wisps of milky white.

Garnished with diamonds of dew,
A grass carpet nuzzles my bare feet;
Lying in the leafy lushness, I listen.
