Fresh Snow

Fresh Snow
Snow softly tumbling from the blue cloudy sky,
Dancing around until it hits the ground.
Covering flower pedals as it’s
Knee deep with kids
Weeping as you step on its delicate self.

Snow packing together,
Laughing hysterically as you make it into a snowball,
Screaming as it gets thrown across the yard,
Scared to fall and break like a glass flower vase.

Vanishing into thin air,
Flower leaf’s reappear,
Sadly singing goodbye as it melts away,
Anxiously waiting for the time to come again
When it can fall from the sky.
