A Calm, Pleasant Night

A calm, pleasant night
When it hushes
The cries of many babies
And soothes the rushing breeze
Journeying a far distance
When it etches the beauties
Of the shimmering stars and the glorious moonbeams
Upon the inquisitive eyes
Which savor every piece of this wonderful portrait

A gentle, motionless night
When it takes its dreamers
To a land of Paradise
Where lies no sorrow or pain
Proffering only a feeling of joy
Where it eases the worries
Of the troubled minds
Caressing their burdens
Like the fingertips that heal agonizing wounds

A wonderful, desirable night
When I contemplate and pray
For the eternity of this peace
Night, my company
Who consoles my grief
In this time of hour
In this calm, pleasant night
