You wanted to do it, didn't you?
We all know that it is true
Each pill you took
And each time you shook
As the blood fell from your lips
Continuing, sip after sip
Drowning within yourself
Sip after sip
Surrounded by self-hatred
Sip after sip
Falling into confusion
Sip after sip
Standing alone in the darkness
Sip after sip
And alone is how you'll remain
Because in darkness there is no pain.
