Something different
you know what,
maybe I'm not the prettiest,
or the nicest girl,
with the sweetest heart,
maybe I'm not the greatest,
the most talented, with the most potential
that anyone has to offer
when u walk through the door, see me,
but:
wont stop and stare, (or)
think that I'm the most
prettiest girl in the room,
and
u may be surprised to hear that is fine
that I am fine
that although I'm not some unique portrait
that people can spend all day
contemplating the meaning behind
and admiring it's surface
at least i can honestly say
...that at least I'm not you
and if that doesn't amount to something
(and hopefully it does)
then what,
then who,
does???
