May She One Day Soar Like a Comet
My heart does feel so heavy now
Because I can't understand how
A girl so beautiful and bright
Could be shown hate near ev'ry night
Such bril'ant fire burns within
This girl to whom is shown such sin
The words from her mother like coal
Creates such heat which takes its toll
True smiles are so hard to gain
As if her soul wants to refrain
From feeling good for up ahead
She sees the monster is not fed
Every night the taste of tears
The drink's addiction switching gears
There is no remedy for this
Nothing to repair what's amiss
When the sky darkens so does she
Needing to return to Queen Bee
A forest fire burns right through
But dawn does birth her seeds anew
Now ev'ry day her trees will grow
Soon hate will reap what she did sow
Just one more year will suffer she
Until she will fin'ly break free.
