Hendrix is Dead

March 14, 2008
By john heuninck, Lake Orion, MI

One cold night in November
We sat in my room,
No plans of sleeping
Me and the crew,
We had nothing to do…

Snitch grabbed the guitar,
Started to play
We sat there and listened,
The sound took us away

Back in time,
Back in august 69
We saw Hendrix play
As the night turned to day

The music stops
And a light flashes on
It was my mom
She says what’s going on

I think in myself
Are we still in my room?
This was all in my head
Hendrix is dead
