Casting a shadow between reality and fantasy,
You can be my worst nightmare or my sweetest dream,
Bring me to a low or a feeling of ecstasy,
Craving excitement, you can always fancy a scheme,

You confound my every thought,
Make me question everything I believe,
Encourage me to trust the ones that I have caught,
Attempting to deceive,

You are poison to me, this I know,
But such a sweet poison that drenches me with temptation,
Without this poison, my blood would no longer flow,
Bringing me to my death and wrapping you in a joyous sensation,

A sickly love is what we possess,
But one I cannot live without, nonetheless
