Fallen Leaves
Sitting around on a cold fall day.
Looking around at all the fallen leaves,
and the colorful trees,
that look like they are on fire,
burning, yearning, and waiting
for summer to come around again.
I can feel the cool breeze run through my hair.
Just sitting there,
enjoying every second of every minute
looking around at all the fallen leaves,
and the colorful trees.
Then my mom walks out with a shiny apple,
and sits down right next to me.
She pulls out a long sharp knife,
cutting the apple into 8 thin slices.
With her she also had a cup of caramel.
She put the slices in a bowl,
and poured the caramel in.
I took the first bite.
I felt the juices from the apple,
mixed with the caramel from the cup.
It tasted very good on a cool fall day.
We sat there for an hour or so,
Looking around at all the fallen leaves,
And the colorful trees.
This is a day I shall never forget.
