I am not a computer
That burns the eyes
Slowly as it
Overloads the mind.
I am not a painter
That can be so
Innocent and turn
Dark in a heart beat.
I am not a cat
That will claw
And scratch while
Seeming so sweet.
I am not a maid
That will groan for
Hours about the mess
That I’ve made.
I am not hair
That can look so
Beautiful and shiny but
Slowly cracks away.
I am not you
Who will toy
With my mind
Waiting to change me.
